The security service received incontrovertible evidence of Russian involvement in the 8 April shelling of a train station in Kramatorsk, which killed 61 people and injured 121.
Source: Artem Dekhtiarenko, SSU spokesman
Quote: "Thanks to a number of studies of the missile's trajectory and analysis of other aspects, it was established that the strike was carried out from Donetsk oblast, which since 2014 is under temporary occupation by Russia.
Experts confirmed that a 9M79-1 guided single-stage solid-propellant rocket with a cartridge charge was used for the shelling. It is generally known as "Point U".
According to the SSU, several complexes with Point U are located in the occupied territories of Donbas and have been used by invaders for 8 years. "
Details: According to Dekhtiarenko, SSU investigators continue their work and replenish the evidence base within the criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Despite the fact that Russian propaganda is trying to shift responsibility for the crimes committed by Russia, the real facts have quite documentary evidence, said a spokesman for the SSU.
