Kherson region: Russian troops shoot down their own missiles to set Ukrainian Armed Forces up

Russian troops are deploying air defence systems to shoot down their own missiles in the Kherson region in order to pass this off as the shelling of civilians by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Quote from Pivden Operational Command: "In the Kherson region, the enemy is continuing to shell Russian-occupied towns and villages in an attempt to stage a provocation. They are deploying weapons in such a way as to simulate attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces; moreover, the Ruscists are deploying air defence systems to shoot down their own missiles and pass it off as the shelling of civilians by the Ukrainian Armed Forces."
Background: In Zaporizhzhia, the Russian occupiers have been manufacturing military uniforms identical to those of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to stage provocations against civilians.
