Russian troops failed to block the road to Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast; the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed the Russian attack.

Details: Russian troops carried out 6 missile, bomb, and air strikes on the city of Bakhmut, in the northern part of Donetsk Oblast.
Avdiivka, Ocheretyne amalgamated territorial community [hromada], Marina, Krasnohorivka, and Toretsk have also been bombarded by the Russian forces.
Quote from Kyrylenko: "Also, one of the towns where the enemy was positioned has been liberated. Heavy fighting continues, the situation is very difficult. Civilians must evacuate in order to make it easier for us to liberate our territories."
