Background:
- The military administration imposed a curfew in Odesa from 10 pm on 1 May to 5 am on 3 May.
- Trains will not run to railway stations during the curfew in Odesa.
- On 2 May 2014, there were clashes in Odesa between "supporters of federalisation" from the so-called "Anti-Maidan" and "supporters of unity", in which 48 people (forty men, seven women and one minor) lost their lives. In particular, following a fire in the local House of Trade Unions, Russian propaganda of the Putin regime has put together - and makes extensive use of - the theory that on that day "Ukrainian Nazis burned several dozen opponents of the Kyiv regime alive in the House of Trade Unions".
