Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, believes that no-one has brought as much pain to the Donbas as Russia, because the invaders have killed tens of thousands of people in Mariupol alone.

According to Podoliak: "In two months since the start of full-scale war, the number of deaths in Mariupol alone has reached tens of thousands. No-one has inflicted as much pain on the people of Donbas as the Russian Federation has since 2014 and especially today."
