On 1 May, Russian troops shelled high-rise apartment buildings in Orikhove, Zaporizhzhia Region, killing 2 civilians.

According to the Zaporizhzhia State Administration: "Yesterday Russian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in Orikhove, hitting several apartment buildings.

4 people were hospitalised with wounds of varying severity after the shelling; another 2 men died from the shrapnel wounds they suffered."
