14 Russian attacks repulsed, 29 pieces of Russian military equipment destroyed in eastern Ukraine

On Thursday, 19 May, the Ukrainian Joint Forces repulsed 14 Russian attacks on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts; fighting continues at 2 locations.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Joint Forces destroyed 8 Russian tanks, 14 armoured combat vehicles, and 6 motor vehicles.
The Air Defence Forces shot down 1 Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle over Ukrainian Donbas.
In the territory overseen by the Skhid Task Force, Russian losses comprised 40 military personnel, 2 tanks, and 2 armoured personnel carriers.
Russian troops shelled around 50 towns and villages in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts on 19 May, destroying or damaging over 40 civilian objects, including 31 residential houses, a sanatorium, a sports complex, a technical college dormitory, a bank office, the premises of a District Department for Education, the premises of a transport enterprise, and a gas pipeline. At least 8 civilians were killed in the shelling, 9 more sustained injuries. Rescue and search operations continue.
