In Russia, recorded at least 12 cases of arson of military enlistment offices - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, at least 12 cases of deliberate arson of military registration and enlistment offices have been recorded in Russia.

Source: Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Quote: "Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, at least 12 cases of deliberate arson of military registration and enlistment offices  in Russia have been recorded.

Only in the last week, there were 5 such cases: in Rostov Oblast, Ryazan Oblast, as well as in Volgograd and Omsk."

Details: Gromov also noted that the Russian occupying forces continue to take measures to make up for its losses.

"According to available information, the formation of consolidated battalion-tactical groups of the Pacific and Northern Fleets continues at the permanent locations of the 40th Separate Marine Brigade, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and the 200th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, Pechenga, respectively. On the basis of the training of specialists of the southern military district of Molkino, personnel are being trained to replenish units and military units of the 49th Army," he said.

Gromov added that measures are being taken in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea to restore the combat capability of Russian units that have suffered significant losses.

What happened before: A fire broke out at the Shcholkiv Military Commissariat in the Russian suburbs of Russia on the night of 18 May. Social networks write that "Molotov cocktails" were thrown into the building.

The military registration and enlistment office in Omsk, Russia, was pelted with Molotov cocktails on 13 May.

According to the BBC, from 24 February to 4 May, military commissariats were set on fire in at least six Russian regions.
