A 37-year-old tractor driver was blown up by a Russian mine when he drove into a field in the village of Andriivka near Makariv, but he was not seriously injured.

The Kyiv oblast police are once again warning citizens: avoid forest and field roads in the de-occupied territories.

Details: Sappers who arrived at the scene found another unexploded mine under the wheels of the damaged tractor.

Background:

  • On 8 May, a resident of Kyiv Oblast died in a forest belt near the village of Zalissia when he was blown up by an undetected Russian mine.
  • Ukrainian investigators found another mass burial site near Makariv where Russians had buried the bodies of dead civilians.
