Venediktova's Quote: "Another suspect in the violence against women in Kyiv Oblast has been identified. This is the second Russian rapist we have exposed - 20-year-old Bulat Fassakhov - a radiotelephonist of the howitzer artillery division of the 30th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation."

Details: According to the Prosecutor General, the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, working with the Security Service of Ukraine, exposed the soldier and informed him that he is under suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war.

Venediktova added that in March Fassakhov and a colleague broke into a private house in a village in Brovarsky district. He ordered his accomplice to lock all the occupants of the house in the basement, except for one woman. Intimidating the victim with weapons and threats that he would massacre her family, Fassakhov raped her.
