Russians shell Sumy region again, covering entry of sabotage and reconnaissance group - border guards

On the morning of 16 May, the Russian army opened fire on the territory of Sumy oblast near the border with Russia, infiltrators tried to enter the territory of Ukraine.

Details: On Monday morning, Russian forces opened fire on the border area of the Sumy region.
The Russians fired using mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns and submachine guns.
A Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to enter Ukraine under fire cover.
Ukrainian border guards fought the saboteurs and forced them to retreat beyond the state border.
Background: The territory of Sumy Oblast was completely liberated from Russian forces on 8 April, however the army of the Russian Federation continues to shell it from its [Russian] territory - probably to keep Ukraine defenders there and prevent them from coming to the aid of other intense spots.
