Russian forces have already killed 229 children in Ukraine

As of 16 May, Russian invaders have killed at least 229 children in Ukraine, with new victims of the aggressors found in Mariupol.

Quote from the Prosecutor General: "As of the morning of 16 May, more than 650 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation. According to official youth prosecutors, 229 children have been killed and more than 421 injured."
Details: The Prosecutor General Office of Ukraine emphasises that these figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Children were most affected in Donetsk (140), Kyiv (116), Kharkiv (100), Chernihiv (68), Kherson (48), Luhansk (45), Mykolaiv (44), Zaporizhzhia (28), Sumy (17), Zhytomyr (15) Oblasts and in the city of Kyiv (16).
In particular, on 14 May a 15-year-old boy was injured as a result of Russian shelling in the village of Lebiazhe, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv Oblast.
It also became known that on 8 March a 15-year-old girl died as a result of an airstrike by the troops of the Russian Federation in Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast. A 16-year-old boy died on 18 March due to shelling by the city's occupiers.
1,748 educational institutions have been damaged as a result of the bombing and shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, of which 144 have been completely destroyed.
