Luhansk Oblast: Russians hit a number of settlements with MLRS

Russian troops fired artillery and multiple rocket launchers at a number of settlements in Luhansk Oblast, and much destruction has been recorded. Defenders drove the occupiers out of Borivske near Sievierodonetsk.

Haidai's quote: "Near Borivske, the occupiers were severely repulsed and retreated. They also attacked on the Toshkivka front. There is again a lot of destruction of residential areas - in particular, in the villages of the Popasna hromada (amalgamated territorial community - ed.). 20 buildings were destroyed in Komyshuvakha, Katerynivka, Novozvanivka and Troitske. In the towns of Hirske and Zolote, as well as in Toshkivka, there are 11 damaged houses in total, three of which are multi-storey buildings."

Details: Also on the afternoon of 15 May, Russian shells were recorded hitting 7 multi-storey buildings in new districts of Sievierodonetsk, and the building of a vocational school was damaged.

In addition, the Russians attacked Lysychansk, Pryvillia, Novodruzhesk, Rubizhne, Voievodivka and Bilohorivka with artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. 

At the same time, on 15 May, defenders repulsed 17 aggressor attacks, destroyed 3 tanks, 1 artillery system, 6 units of armoured combat vehicles, and 1 vehicle belonging to the invaders.

Air defence units shot down 2 Russian helicopters (Ka-52 and Mi-28) and 5 Orlan-10 type drones.
