On the Slobozhanskyi front, the invaders are trying to hold back the offensive of the Defence Forces north of Kharkiv and prevent them from reaching the border. Russian forces are preparing an offensive near Izium.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the Russians did not undertake any active operations. Certain units of the Belarusian armed forces (up to 7 battalions) continue to cover the section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

The next stage of the combat readiness inspection of the response force of the Armed Forces of Belarus will take place by 21 May. There is activity in the mobile radio-monitoring system in the border area, including on Ukrainian soil. It functions to monitor cellular communications networks.

On the Siversk front, the invaders have intensified control of the Ukrainian-Russian border section in the Bryansk and Kursk regions and are demonstratively acting to keep the Defence Forces at bay and prevent them from moving into the Eastern Operational Zone. There is still a possibility of shelling and missile and bomb attacks from Russian territory along this front.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russian forces are focusing their main efforts on holding their positions and preventing our troops from advancing towards the Ukrainian-Russian border.

There have been no active combat operations on the Sloviansk front. The Russian invaders are re-staffing and replenishing their losses.

Russian invaders fired artillery at civilian infrastructure in the districts of Dovhenke, Ruski Tyshky, Ternova, and Petrivka. The invaders conducted aerial reconnaissance using Orlan-10 UAVs.

On the Donetsk front, invaders fired from the full range of available weapons at aircraft, causing the attrition of personnel and destruction of the fortifications of our troops' units.

On the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Kurakhove fronts, the Russian forces continue their offensive and hostilities are ongoing.

On the Avdiivka front, after losses inflicted by the Defence Forces, the invaders retreated to their previously occupied positions.

There were no active combat operations on the Sievierodonetsk and Novopavlivsk fronts, though Russian forces attempted to fire on Ukrainian troops.

In Mariupol, the invaders are continuing massive artillery and air strikes. The main efforts of the Russians are focused on blockading and defeating units of Ukrainian troops in the Azovstal area.

The invaders did not conduct active combat operations on the Pivdennyi Buh front but shelled Ukrainian units with artillery and mortars.

On the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts over the past 24 hours Ukrainian troops repelled 17 Russian attacks, destroyed 3 tanks, 1 artillery system, 6 armoured combat vehicles, and a motor vehicle. Russian personnel losses are being confirmed.

Russian aircraft hit targets in the Eastern Operational Zone and deep inside Ukrainian territory.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 11 aerial targets: 2 helicopters (Ka-52 and Mi-28), 7 operational-tactical UAVs, and 2 cruise missiles.

Air Force aircraft has continued to conduct air strikes against the invaders, support our troops' combat operations, and patrol Ukraine's airspace.
