"Four horsemen of the apocalypse in Mariupol": mayor's advisor names causes of deaths

Petro Andriushchenko, advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, has noted that the mortality rate remains high in the city besieged by Russian invaders, especially among middle-aged people.

Mariupol residents are reporting atypical peacetime mortality rates. Many middle-aged people are dying. The death rate is such that new graves are immediately springing up in the place of exhumed graves in backyards.

The sad tide of death has not abated. People are not dying from the shelling, but from the consequences of the occupation. Nervous breakdowns, lack of medical services, unsanitary conditions and destroyed immunity due to starvation are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse in Mariupol."

Details: Andriushchenko notes that only general evacuation and allowing humanitarian aid from Ukraine can save Mariupol hostages from Russia.
