Ukrainian Air Defence has destroyed over 200 Russian planes since 24 February

Ukrainian Air Defence has destroyed 201 Russian airplanes since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military invasion in Ukraine on 24 February; 7 other air targets were hit on 14 May alone.

Quote from Ihnat: "On 14 May, Air Force anti-aircraft missile forces have taken the count of Russian occupiers’ downed planes into its third hundred [meaning over 200 planes have now been downed - ed.]. Around 18:00 in the evening, the 201st Russian fighter jet was shot down over the enemy territory in the Kharkiv region. The type [of the downed fighter jet] is being confirmed.
The air defence of the Land Forces and the Air Force also shot down 7 enemy drones of operational-tactical level.
The Air Force continues to carry out tasks in Ukraine’s airspace and to launch missile and bomb strikes on the positions of the occupying forces; in particular, a [Russian - ed.] platoon base, a company checkpoint; 10 armoured vehicles were destroyed and dozens of Ruscists killed."
Details: Overall, 8 Russian air targets were destroyed on Saturday, 14 May: 1 plane (Su-30/Su-34); 7 UAVs (operational-tactical); as well as 1 platoon base, 1 company checkpoint, 10 armoured vehicles. Nearly 30 occupying troops were killed.
