The number of wounded has increased: 646 children have been injured at the hands of the occupiers

At least 646 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the war unleashed by Russia.
As of the morning of 13 May, the officially declared number of killed children hasn’t changed and is 226 children.
But the number of wounded children increased to 420, reports the Office of the Attorney General.
"These figures aren’t final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, and in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories," juvenile prosecutors emphasise.
The largest number of injured children is 139 in the Donetsk Region, 116 in the Kyiv Region, 99 in the Kharkiv Region, 68 in the Chernihiv Region, 48 in the Kherson Region, 45 in the Luhansk Region, 44 in the Mykolaiiv Region, 28 in the Zaporizhzhia Region, 17 in the Sumy Region, 16 in the city of Kyiv, and 15 in the Zhytomyr Region.
On 12 May, the Russian military shelled Dobrianka village in the Beryslavsk district of the Kherson Region. A 9-year-old boy was injured as a result of the shelling.
Also on 12 May, a convoy of civilian vehicles trying to leave the occupied part of the Kherson Region near the village of Karierne, Beryslav district, Kherson Region, was shelled by the occupiers from a Grad multiple rocket launcher.
A 10-year-old girl in one of the cars was injured.
And as a result of shelling in the city of Mariupol on 10 March, a 17-year-old girl was injured.
1721 educational institutions have been ruined by the daily bombing and shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages. 139 of them were completely destroyed.
