Details: According to Kyrylenko, the most active attacks are on the Avdiivka front. For the second day in a row, the Russians are attacking the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant – 1 employee was injured, and part of the facilities was damaged. The city is without electricity.

In Toretsk on 12 May, 1 person was injured and 5 houses were damaged. In Svitlodarsk, 2 houses were damaged; their residents have already been evacuated.

On the Ocheretinsky and Avdiivka fronts, the Russians have tried to break through the Ukrainian defences – both attempts were repulsed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Quote: "Mariupol remains the most painful point, where the guys and girls of steel, at the cost of Titanic super-efforts, are holding down the fort of Azovstal under constant bombardment by aircraft, missiles, ship cannons, tanks and artillery.

Ukraine appeals to the whole world, to international organisations, to save the lives of our soldiers. We have faith that we will be heard."

Previously: This is not the first time Russian forces have been shelling the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant. The Metinvest Group has reported that it is trying to preserve the plant and has minimised the number of personnel working at the enterprise’s industrial sites.
