Enemy artillery fired on Sumy region: killing a pensioner

In the morning, occupying forces fired heavy artillery at Sumy Region from Russia, killing a civilian.

Details: The invaders launched an artillery strike from the Russian town of Tiotkino. The attack was presumably conducted from a self-propelled artillery unit. There were about two dozen shots.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), the shells exploded at a distance of about 6 kilometres from the border on the outskirts of a settlement in the Bilopil City United Territorial Community.
As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed and private homes were damaged.
At the same time, the prosecutor's office says that units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out artillery shelling in the village of Stari Vyrky, Sumy district, Sumy Region, around 06:00. A 67-year-old local man died in his own yard.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war.
