Quote: "@elonmusk people say you come from another planet to teach people to believe in the impossible. Our planets are next to each other, as I live where it is nearly impossible to survive.
Help us get out of Azovstal to a mediating country. If not you, then who? Give me a hint."
"I ask every person on the planet Earth, help make Elon see my appeal."
Details: The statement notes that Elon Musk has "proved that there are no unsolvable tasks for him, that anything is possible", "he never gives up, and neither do we."
Background:
- On 7 May, Serhii Volyna said that Mariupol defenders have ended up in a "hell-like reality TV show," watched by the entire world. They are still hoping that a decision regarding their evacuation will be made.
- The Ukrainian side offered the Russians to exchange the severely wounded Ukrainian servicemen who remained at Azovstal for captured Russian servicemen. No agreement has been reached yet. Negotiations are ongoing.
