Quote: "The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Kharkiv direction. The occupying forces moved to the defence in order to slow down the pace of the offensive of our troops. In the course of the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the settlement of the Pytomnyk of the Kharkiv Region was liberated."
On the Sloviansk front, the main efforts of the enemy were focused on creating conditions for resuming the offensive. Enemy subunits continued to replenish stocks of material and technical means in order to build up offensive capabilities.
In the vast majority of temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region, in order to prevent the transfer of information about the movement of Russian troops, the occupiers are suppressing the cellular network. Locals in many settlements remain without electricity and water. Entering the territory controlled by Ukraine for the Russian occupiers is prohibited."
Details: On the Donetsk front, Russian troops are trying to seize control of the city of Rubizhne and launch an offensive towards Lyman. They also continue preparations for the offensive in the areas of Kurakhove and Novopavlivka. The enemy is trying to hold positions on the right (Western) bank of the Siverskyi Donets River.
Separately, the General Staff noted that the enemy is increasing air reconnaissance of the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Donbas, using unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the Bakhmut front, in preparation for the offensive, the Russian occupiers continued artillery shelling of the positions of our troops in the areas of Svitlodarsk and Troitskе. The enemy stormed Orikhove and Toshkivka, but was unsuccessful.
In Mariupol, the Russians continue the devastating artillery and air shelling of Ukrainian defenders on the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant.
The enemy did not carry out active hostilities near Kryvyi Rih and Mykolaiv. They fired at the positions of the Armed Forces from artillery and mortars and carried out engineering equipment for advanced positions.
The situation on the northern borders with Belarus has not changed. Measures are being taken to equip defence positions along the state border in the Brest and Gomel Regions. Meetings involving conscripts are being held in the Brest and Grodno Regions. The threat of air and missile attacks from the territory of Belarus still remains.
In the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy continues to carry out enhanced border protection in the Briansk and Kursk Regions. In order to prevent the Ukrainian leadership from regrouping forces in the north of the country and transferring them to another direction, the Russians are conducting demonstrations near the border and strengthening air defence units.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the enemy continues to suffer heavy losses, and the troops are demoralised and disorganised. Ukrainian intelligence has information that in some units of the occupiers, commanders said that the rotation of troops will not take place until the end of the so-called "special military operation."
