Another 6 captured Russian invaders sentenced to 8-15 years in prison - SBU

According to documents from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), 6 Russian occupiers taken prisoner have been sentenced to 8-15 years.

Quote: "Six combatants in illegal armed formations of the Russian occupation forces were convicted in Luhansk and Vinnytsia regions, according to documents from the SBU. They were captured by Ukrainian defenders during the fighting in February-March.

In particular, two residents of temporarily occupied Dovzhansk joined the "service" of the 2nd Separate Mechanised Brigade of the 2nd Army Corps of the people's militia of the LPR. They fought against Ukraine as a "gunner" and "driver". They were captured near Shchastya and Kremennaya.

Another militant who has been fighting since 2015 in a reconnaissance unit and a UAV group was captured in battle near Kreminna.

Three more participants in the "LPR/DPR army" tried to break through the defences towards Mykolaiv. They were found guilty of high treason.

Three militants were sentenced to 15 years in prison, two to 10, and one to 8 years in prison."
