Russians fire on the border again in Sumy and Chernihiv Regions

On Tuesday, the Russians once again fired on the border areas in Sumy and Chernihiv.

Quote: "At about 7 pm, enemy planes twice launched unguided missiles at the border areas of the Shostka district in Sumy Region. Also this evening there were two mortar shellings in the Gorodnyansky district of Chernihiv Region, which were carried out from the Russian village of Novye Yurkovichi."
Details: Border guards said that the consequences of the shelling are being investigated.
Previously: Earlier, the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said that there had been several powerful explosions in different cities in the Shostka district in Sumy Region.
Background:
- In recent days, the Russians have been constantly shelling the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv Regions.
- On 8 May, the Russians launched rocket attacks on the Shostka district in Sumy Region, causing damage to the Jewish cemetery in Hlukhiv. The Chernihiv region was also shelled that day.
- On the evening of 9 May, Russian aircraft fired unguided missiles at Ukraine's border area in Chernihiv Region.
- Additional temporary regime restrictions have been introduced in Chernihiv Region.
