Border guards tighten restrictions in Chernihiv Region

Additional temporary regime restrictions have been introduced in Chernihiv Region.

Details: Demchenko explained to Ukrainska Pravda that additional regime restrictions were being tightened due to the ongoing aggression of the Russian Federation and periodic shelling by the invaders, and in order to prevent provocations.
The same restrictions were introduced earlier along the border in Sumy Region. They will be valid for the duration of the war or until a decision is made to revoke them.
From now on, within the controlled border districts of Koriukivka, Chernihiv and Novhorod-Siverskyi, any movement of civilians is prohibited in an area 1 km wide along the state border, except for the territories of settlements adjacent to the state border.
The following is also prohibited within the rest of the controlled border area (up to 20 km from the state border):
- movement of people and vehicles at night (except medical emergency vehicles)
- carrying out all types of work outside the settlements from 9 pm to 6 am
- fishing, various leisure activities, using any kinds of watercraft on rivers, lakes or other reservoirs
- civilians are prohibited from hunting or wearing military uniforms in the controlled border areas.
Throughout the controlled border areas of Chernihiv Region it is prohibited:
- to use radio broadcasting facilities (except for military formations, law enforcement and security agencies established in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, as well as facilities installed on special equipment and special-purpose vehicles);
- to use light aircraft, quadcopters and other UAVs;
- to take videos, photos or film footage of military personnel, sites, buildings, vehicles, engineering structures and barriers, or positions of military units or law enforcement agencies whose identification on the ground and disclosure may have negative consequences for state security.
