12 civilians in Donetsk region killed by Russians on 9 May - police

Russian forces shelled 13 settlements, killed 12 civilians and injured 7 more people in Donetsk Region on 9 May.

Details: At least 39 civilian sites were destroyed - residential buildings, a technical school, a religious building, and other vital infrastructure.
Russian troops hit the following settlements - Mariupol, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Avdiivka, Zalizne, Siversk, Marinka, Drobysheve, New York, Adamivka, Lastochkyne and Kalynove.
The occupiers fired at the civilian population from aircraft, Grad multiple launch rocket systems, tanks, heavy artillery and air-to-ground missiles.
The police have begun pre-trial investigations under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
