A Russian shell has killed a man in his own home in Zolochiv, Kharkiv Region.

According to Kovalenko: "A house was directly hit [by a shell]. A man inside, born in 1951, was killed."
Details: The head of Zolochiv added that Russian shelling had destroyed a total of 4 houses in Zolochiv and damaged 6 more.
Russian shells also hit the Church of the Ascension, which belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

- On Sunday 1 May, Russian occupying forces also shelled Bohoduhiv in Kharkiv Region, killing one woman and injuring two other people.
- On the morning of 1 May, Russian troops also conducted 3 artillery strikes on the city of Kharkiv, wounding one man. Kharkiv Military Administration had warned the citizens of Kharkiv not to leave their shelters despite the fact that the intensity of Russian shelling has subsided.
