Occupiers rob hospitals and force staff to treat wounded Russians - Ukrainian intelligence

In the occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russians are destroying the medical infrastructure, taking equipment away and leaving the local population without medical care.

Details: The Chief Intelligence Directorate reports that medical facilities are being closed down in the occupied territories, there is a shortage of doctors, and the delivery of medicines from Ukrainian-controlled territories is prohibited.

Patients with active tuberculosis have been denied medical treatment at the regional tuberculosis dispensary in Vovchansk (Kharkiv Region) and thrown out into the streets.

Premises formerly used to treat infectious diseases are filling up with wounded Russians. Medical staff are forced to work for the occupiers. All physicians have to undergo a polygraph examination procedure. Those who do not pass are forcibly sent to the front.

An ammunition depot has been set up in the Polohy Central District Hospital (Zaporizhzhia Region). Staff are prohibited from providing medical care to locals.

Oleshky District Hospital and Hola Prystan City Hospital are being forced to serve the needs of the Russian Armed Forces. Medical staff are prohibited from changing their place of residence by evacuating to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

All hospitals without exception in the Balakliia (Kharkiv Region) are full of wounded occupiers. Medical staff are forced to work. Ukrainian citizens remain without medical care.
