Russian troops drop bombs with parachutes on Kharkiv

Ihor Terekhov, Mayor of Kharkiv, reported that Russian occupying forces are dropping bombs with parachutes attached to them on Kharkiv and asked local residents to not approach such bombs.

According to Terekhov: "Kharkiv has been bombed by novel types of bombs. The Russian aggressors are dropping bombs with parachutes. I urge you, under no circumstances approach such parachutes and immediately report them to rescue workers."
Details: Terekhov said that 1,716 residential buildings have been destroyed since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
From 10 April onwards, Kharkiv will receive an increased supply of humanitarian aid.
Terekhov urged Kharkiv residents to spend the nights in bomb shelters whenever possible.
Background: Oleksandr Motuzianyk, Speaker for the Ministry of Defence, said that the Russian occupying forces are preparing to capture Kharkiv and to attack Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operational zone.
Terekhov assured Kharkiv residents that the city was well armed and prepared to defend itself, and asked them not to succumb to panic.
