General Staff: Russian troops continue offensive operations on Donetsk front

Russian troops are continuing offensive operations on the Donetsk front and the reinforcement of groupings of troops in the Kharkiv region.

According to the General Staff: "Enemy troops are continuing offensive operations on the Donetsk front. The occupiers’ main efforts are focused on seizing control of Rubizhne, Popasna, and Novobakhmutivka.
At the same time, invading forces continue to carry out airstrikes on Vuhledar and Novoselivka Druha. They are attempting to resume an offensive around Novotoshkivske, Stepne, and Maryinka."
Details: The occupiers’ main efforts are focused on the capture of Mariupol and the offensive on the city of Izyum. The possibility of Russian troops deploying sabotage and reconnaissance groups to carry out acts of sabotage of transport infrastructure is still high.
On the Slobozhanskyi front, Russian troops continue to partially blockade Kharkiv. They are electronically suppressing cellular networks in order to covertly relocate units of their troops in the Kharkiv region.
It is also reported that two battalion tactical groups of the Russian army have been relocated from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation to the Shevchenko district of the Kharkiv region in order to increase Russia’s military presence in the area
"The enemy continues to carry out missile strikes on civilian objects across the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff noted.
On the Pivdennyi Bug front, Russian occupying forces continue to try to hold their positions on the administrative border of the Kherson region.
No significant changes in the composition and position of the Russian troops have been observed on the Volyn, Polissya, and Siverskyi fronts.
"Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold the line of defence and are gradually pushing back enemy troops in certain areas," the General Staff reported.
