The Head of Mykolaiv Region doesn't see intention of occupiers to seize Mykolaiv

Vitalii Kim, The Head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, says that at the moment he doesn’t see any intention on the part of occupiers to seize Mykolaiv.

Details: At the same time, he added that the shelling carried out by the Russian occupying forces could be both to intimidate people and to cover up potential military movements on the part of the invaders.

Background: 

• In the afternoon of 4 April, the Russian occupiers shelled Mykolaiv with cluster shells, killing 12 people and injuring 41 (including four children)
• On the afternoon of 29 March, the Russian invaders launched a rocket into the building of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. On the first day, rescuers reported 12 dead and 33 injured. On 2 April, it was reported that the number of dead people had increased to 36.
