Russian poll: 74 per cent of Russians support war with Ukraine, 78 per cent are satisfied with Putin

According to the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM), 78 per cent of Russians support Vladimir Putin’s actions and 74 per cent approve of his decision to attack Ukraine.

Details: According to VCIOM, as at 5 April, 78 per cent of Russians approved of their President’s actions and 13 per cent did not.
At the same time, 74 per cent of Russians supported the decision to start a war (which the original source calls a "special military operation"), 17 per cent did not support the war, and about one in ten had difficulty answering the question (9 per cent).
Quote: "On 31 March, 89 per cent of respondents said they trusted the Russian army, while 8 per cent said they tended not to."
Most Russians believe that an information war is currently being waged against Russia (90 per cent).
