Regions: shelling in Odesa region, explosions in Kherson region, attacks in Donbas and Kharkiv region

Overnight on 8 April, the Russians have been shelling the Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions, however the Ukrainians have managed to unblock three evacuation buses in the Donetsk region. There has been a rocket attack on the Odesa region. There have been explosions in the Kherson region which is already suffering from a lack of water and medicine.

Details: Kharkiv: Overnight, the enemy again fired artillery at residential areas of Kharkiv: Saltivka, HTZ, and Oleksiyivka. There are 14 wounded and 1 woman dead.
In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops shelled Dergachi and Balaklia.
Additionally, the occupiers have damaged the railway in Barvinkovo though no one was hurt.
Оn the Izyum front, the fighting continues.
Luhansk region: Ongoing mortar shelling and positional battles continue in Kreminna, Popasna, and Rubizhne. In the evening, the enemy focused on Lysychansk, where two more houses were set on fire.
Across the region there were 24 residential fires as a result of shelling. One person died.
Donetsk region: Russian troops are exacerbating the situation by "squeezing" Ukrainian troops near Vuhledar, Marinka, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, and Ocheretyne.
On Thursday, there was helicopter shelling on Vuhledar, Slovyansk (Kh-55 missile), and as a result, more than 10 houses were damaged.
Additionally, three evacuation trains were blocked. Traffic was blocked only around midnight. Currently, the trains towards Lviv and Khmelnytsky are running.
As a result of the shelling, three civilians were wounded.
"No changes in Mariupol. Blockade, humanitarian catastrophe, mopping-up operations, street positional fighting. The defenders of the city are fighting and facing significant enemy forces," according to the statement.
Odesa region: As a result of a missile strike from the sea, infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region were hit at about 10:50 p.m. Details are being clarified.
Mykolaiv region: The whole region had a relatively calm night except for the Bashtansky district which faced shelling. Details are being clarified.
Kherson region: Explosions were heard in the region at night. There is currently no information on the consequences.
According to the authorities, the situation in the Kherson region is becoming more critical: humanitarian catastrophe in many villages, water and electricity are cut off, and most importantly, there is a lack of medicine.

The night passed relatively calmly in many regions of Ukraine: in Volyn, Zakarpattia, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, Chernihiv, Chernihiv regions, and Poltava region.
