Quote: "… people heard explosions near Lypova Dolyna (urban-type settlement in the Sumy region near Poltava - ed.). Our guys shot down a missile that was heading towards Poltava, and the wreckage of the missile fell on this area."
Details: In addition, Zhyvytskyy reported that areas in the region are being cleared of mines after the aggressors’ retreat.
In particular, experts found and destroyed cluster components (27 pcs.) of RBK-500 PTAB-1 air bombs in the Romensky district. These cluster bomb components could have detonated at any moment.
A deformed FAB-500SHR air bomb that did not explode was found in someone’s garden, 300 metres from residential buildings, in the village of Sloboda in the Konotop district.
The explosive ordnance disposal team from the Main Directorate of the National Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine defused the shell.
