Quote: "If there is no painful package of sanctions against Russia, if we do not have the weapons supply we need. Weapons, which we have asked for so many times. It will be seen by Russia as permission. As permission to move on. Permission to start a new bloody wave in Donbass.
It is still possible to impose the sanctions that Ukraine is insisting on, that our people are insisting on. It is also possible to give us the kind of weapons that will really stop this aggression. The West can do that, just as it could have imposed preventive sanctions last year to prevent this war from starting, prevent this invasion from starting. If this mistake is made again, if there are no preventive actions a second time, it will be a historic mistake by the whole Western world."
