More than 3,800 people evacuated through humanitarian corridors, almost half of them from Mariupol

On Tuesday 5 April, 3,846 people were evacuated through humanitarian corridors, almost half of them from Mariupol using their own transport.

Details: 2,216 people travelled from Mariupol and Berdyansk to Zaporizhzhia in one day using their own transport. 1,496 of them were from Mariupol.

Also 720 people came from cities in the Zaporizhzhia region - Polohy, Vasylivka, Berdiansk and Melitopol.

In addition, 17 minibuses sent to Berdiansk in the morning returned to Zaporizhzhia. 150 people were evacuated.

The towns of Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne and  Kreminna in the Luhansk region managed to evacuate 1,080 people on Tuesday 5 April.
