Iryna Vereshchuk: About 600 Russians held prisoner in Ukraine

Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, has reported that there are currently about 600 Russians held prisoner in Ukraine.

According to Vereshchuk: "There are about 600 of them now if we talk about the total number.
You know, we have to build a special camp in accordance with international law."
Details: Iryna Vereshchuk added that the issue of a large number of prisoners has been discussed at a meeting with government officials.
"We discussed how to force Russia to allow the Red Cross to reach our prisoners, and about how to force Russia to release prisoners. Some of them have been detained in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions since 2014, including women," the Minister said.
