In the Chernihiv region, Ukrainian flags have once again been raised over border detachments where the Russian troops invaded Ukraine in late February, and over the command building of the detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in Chernihiv.

According to Deineko: "The 40th day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people.
In Chernihiv, we raised a blue and yellow flag over the border detachment command building together with our brothers in arms, Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, and Viacheslav Chaus, the Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
Enemy shelling has severely damaged its [Chernihiv’s -ed.] infrastructure. But this is nothing compared to our desire for Freedom and Peace. We will restore everything, just as we will restore control over the sections of the state border together with the soldiers of the country’s Defence Forces."
Details: Deineko also said that flags have already been raised over the Dniprovske border detachment, where the Russian invasion began in the Chernihiv region, and over the Dobryanka and Hremiach detachments.
