Borodianka has the worst situation in the Kyiv region in terms of human casualties from the Russian occupiers.

Venediktova also says that prosecutors are working with people affected by Russian aggression at all checkpoints on Ukraine's border with Western countries. 

"We are working to question these people, to give them the status of victims in criminal proceedings," the prosecutor general said.

On April 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the town of Borodianka in the Bucha district of Kyiv region.

On April 2, it was officially reported that the entire Kyiv region had been liberated from the Russian occupiers.

On April 3, the Minister of Internal affairs Denys Monastyrskyi said that Irpin, Hostomel, Borodianka, Makariv, Kopyliv, Motyzhyn, dozens of villages and towns in the Kyiv region liberated from the occupiers were not safe yet.
