A safe route has been organised from Chernihiv - Regional State Administration
ROMAN PETRENKO - MONDAY, 4 APRIL 2022, 14:00
Russian troops have already left the area around Chernihiv, and a relatively safe route for humanitarian aid and evacuation has been organised from the regional centre.
Source: Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Regional State Administration, in a joint TV broadcast.
According to Chaus: "The Russian aggressor's troops have withdrawn from Chernihiv and are withdrawing from the region. Together with the military, we have organised and opened an alternative temporary route, which is relatively safe and by which humanitarian aid can be delivered and people can be evacuated".
Details: The head of the Regional State Administration did not specify where the route was starting from, most probably from Kyiv.
Chaus also advised that people who want to return to the region to pick up their belongings or remove various items, should wait until at least tomorrow, April 5.
He pointed out that missile attacks are taking place all over the country and Chernihiv is not safe even now.
