Quote: "In the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched approximately 21 strikes with artillery, mortars and tanks in the areas of Saltivka, Piatykhatka, Oleksiiyka, Novi Budynky, the city centre and Derhachi.
We have not observed any combat aircraft, but the enemy is conducting active reconnaissance and launching unmanned aerial vehicles.
In the region, the hottest area is the Izyum sector, where our Armed Forces are engaged in active combat with the invaders. At the same time, the enemy's defensive positions near Izyum are now more vulnerable, as Russian forces are focusing on the Donbas front."
Details: Sinehubov pointed out that in order to avoid potential consequences of hostilities in Izyum district settlements, the authorities are gradually evacuating the population.
On 2 April, the invaders shelled Lozova again. As a result of the missile attack, 4 people were injured, houses were damaged, over 60,000 community residents were left without water and over 40,000 were left without power. Local authorities and utility workers are actively working on restoring these.
In Balakleya, the Russians opened fire from tanks on the Central District Hospital. The building is partially damaged, so patients and staff must be evacuated immediately. The authorities plan to evacuate about 70 people on Sunday.
Humanitarian aid continues to be sent to the city and the region.
