Nearly a thousand people evacuated from Donbas in 24 hours

A total of 955 people were evacuated from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions over a 24-hour period on 2 April.

 Details: Evacuations from the Donetsk region:

• 155 people, including 39 children and 4 people with disabilities, from the settlement of Vuhledar;
•  27 people, including 1 child, from the settlement of Marinka;
• 7 people, including 2 children from the village of Novohrodivka.

In the Luhansk region, 800 people were evacuated from Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Popasna and Kreminna.

In total, since 24 February, some 20,598 people have been evacuated from communities in the Luhansk region and some 6,584 people from communities in the Donetsk region.
