Quote: "To date, the European Union has introduced four sanctions packages. In parallel, their application is assessed on a daily basis, and loopholes identified.
And the fifth package of sanctions that will be adopted soon ... will eliminate a huge block of loopholes, identified over the past month, which the Russian Federation have used to circumvent the sanctions.
I can't reveal details, but I will say that we have closed many of these avenues at a political level."
Details: Kuleba noted that the sanctions package was being worked on at micro level, while closing loopholes was being worked on at macro level.
He and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have talked to other foreign ministers and leaders of states that Russia is trying to use to circumvent sanctions.
According to the Minister, US and British partners are also communicating with them, explaining the consequences of circumventing sanctions.
