General Staff report: Armed Forces of Ukraine kill 70 occupiers and destroy munitions store in Kherson Region

The Ukrainian military have destroyed a munitions store and killed 70 Russians (the exact number of dead is being verified) near Velyka Oleksandrivka, Kherson Region.

Details: Russian units also suffered personnel losses near the settlements of Novodmytrivka and Bilousove.

On the Donetsk and Tavriia fronts, the Russians are moving their command posts closer to the line of battle. The invader is firing at our troops’ positions using mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers along the entire line of contact:

•       in the Sievierodonetsk area, the Russians are engaged in combat operations near the village of Rubizhne;
•       in the Popasna area, they are attempting to take Popasna; the fighting continues;
•       in the Avdiivka area, they are attempting to launch an offensive, without success;
•       in the Kurakhove area, their offensive in the Novomykhailivka and Marinka areas failed;
•       in the Zaporizhzhia area, they are conducting offensive combat operations in the Trudoliubivka area; the fighting continues.

The invader is using massive firepower and blocking our units in the area of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts, and the invader took no active action. Certain Belarusian units are covering sections of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Gomel Regions.

On the Siverskyi front, there are no signs of the invader forming a strike force to resume offensive operations. In the areas bordering Ukraine in Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod Regions, the Russians have strengthened border security and checkpoints, and are fitting out their positions. The Russian occupiers in the border regions have tightened their counter-sabotage measures.

On the Slobozhanskyi front, the Russians are reinforcing their grouping of troops. They continue to partially blockade Kharkiv and are inflicting fire damage on our troops and critical infrastructure facilities.

The invaders are attempting to conduct an offensive near the village of Zavody. The fighting continues.

On the South Buh front, the Russians have been sporadically shelling our units along the entire line of contact. Reconnaissance activity is being recorded near the administrative border of Mykolaiv Region.

The Russian occupiers continue to loot from the local population in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Units of the Russian armed forces are attempting aerial reconnaissance over the territory of Odesa Region. They have suffered casualties.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 10 aerial targets: 3 aircraft, 4 operational-level UAVs and 3 cruise missiles. 

On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions, 6 attacks were repulsed, and 4 tanks, 5 artillery systems, 13 armoured vehicles, 15 vehicles, 2 refuellers and 1 anti-aircraft system were destroyed.
