In Mariupol the "DPR" militia" is operating and former militiamen are called to police departments

The occupiers claim that their "police" are working in Mariupol, and that former employees of the Mariupol regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are required to come to the regional police departments.

Andriushchenko's quote: "The occupiers’ ‘militia’ has started working. Former police officers are obliged to come to work."
Details: The occupiers said that "former employees of the Mariupol regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region are obliged to report to the district police departments for registration, regardless of their intention to continue serving in the police force of the "DPR" [self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic]."
And "employees of the Prymorsk department of the Mariupol regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region must report to the police department in Manhush," the statement said.
