Zaporizhzhia Region: two heads of municipal communities have been released from Russian captivity

Ivan Senyk and Ivan Malieiev, the heads of the two municipal communities of Novouspenivska and Kyrylivska in the Zaporizhzhia region, have been released from Russian captivity.

Details: Ivan Senyk, head of Novouspenivka village council, was captured by the Russian occupiers on 13 April for his patriotic stance and dedicated work for the community even during the occupation.
Ivan Malieiev, head of the Kyrylivska village council, was abducted by the Russian military on 17 April after rejecting an occupier's ultimatum to cooperate.
Klitschko emphasises that 8 Ukrainian mayors continue to be held captive by Russian invaders. Their fate remains unknown.
