Explosions in Vinnytsia Oblast, fires in Lviv Oblast

On the morning of Monday 25 April, explosions were heard near Zhmerynka in Vinnytsia Oblast. Air defence has been in operation in Lviv Oblast, which also saw several fires.

According to Kozytskyi: "Residents of Lviv Oblast, keep sheltering. The air defence systems are working."
Details: Ukrainska Pravda readers also reported that 3 explosions were heard in Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia Oblast, or nearby.
People heard the sound of explosions around 08:20. They also reported that smoke could be seen rising from around where the explosions were heard despite the overcast weather.
Later on, Vinnytsia Oblast Military Administration confirmed that several explosions had been heard in the Oblast.
The authorities urged citizens to refrain from taking any pictures of the site of the incident, to remain calm and to shelter.
As of 08:45 an air alert has been announced for the entire territory of Ukraine.
At 08:59 Kozytskyi reported that fires had erupted in 2 towns in Zolochivskyi District but that the situation remained under control.
He promised to share details of the incidents later and urged people to remain in shelters.
