9 Russian missiles hit critical infrastructure in Poltava oblast

Russian forces carried out nine missile strikes on critical infrastructure in the Poltava region.

Details: The military administration promised to provide all available details later. As of 20:35, air raids in the oblast and throughout Ukraine continued.
Eyewitnesses reported on social media that Russian forces struck Kremenchug. Videos were also circulated on social media showing the missiles travelling in the direction of the city.
Around 21:40, the military administration reported that nine missiles launched by Russian occupiers hit the Poltava region.
Background:
- Air raid sirens could be heard beginning at approximately 18:50 on 24 April, in all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of the temporarily captured Kherson region.
- During the night and morning of 2 April, Russian troops launched a missile attack on an oil refinery in Kremenchug in the Poltava region. The capacities of the refinery were destroyed.
- On Saturday, 23 April, on the eve of Orthodox Easter, Russian "precision" missiles hit a high-rise building in Odesa, killing 8 civilians, including a 3-month-old baby. A mother and grandmother perished together with the child.
