Ukraine will exit negotiations if Mariupol residents killed or Russia conducts “referendums” on occupied territories

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine will withdraw from negotiations with the Russian Federation if the Russian occupiers kill citizens of Mariupol or conduct a pseudo-referendum on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

According to Zelenskyy: "If our people in Mariupol are killed, if pseudo-referendums are announced in new pseudo-republics, Ukraine will withdraw from all negotiations."
Details: Zelenskyy said that Saturday, 23 April was one of the most difficult days in Mariupol’s defence.
The President said that Russian troops are firing from sea and from land, from tanks, aircraft, and artillery.
An hour before the press conference Zelenskyy had a conversation with the fighters of the Azov Regiment who remain at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.
