Explosions in Odesa: information about missile strike and fire

Air-raid sirens sound in Odesa and Odesa Region as reports arrive about damage to municipal infrastructure.

Details: At 13:20 on Saturday 23 April, air-raid sirens were was sounded in Odesa and Odesa Region. 10 minutes later, explosions were heard in the city. Later on, information appeared about a damaged residential building. According to Dumskaya, a residential building is on fire.

Pivden [South] Operational Command reported that a missile strike had been carried out on Odesa and that it had damaged municipal infrastructure.

Air defence is in operation and the threat is over. Odesa residents are urged to remain in shelters. The local government also asked the citizens of Odesa not to share any photos or videos [of the attack or its effects].
