Quote: "We are about to end an important and complex process in Bucha - the collection and exhumation of the bodies of the dead in the Bucha community. The number we have today is 412. But this will be clarified by investigators and experts working 24/7. This means that every third victim in the Kyiv region is from Bucha.
We are still counting the wounded. There is the separate case of a mass grave that was allocated near the Andrii Pervozvannyi church on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, 7-b, where a total of 117 bodies were found, including 30 women and 2 children.
Among these are people who were killed, shot and tortured by the Russian occupiers; some bodies were burnt. There are hospital patients who could not be buried after 24 February because the Russians did not allow the funeral directors to enter the cemetery. There are several defenders from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "
Details: According to Fedoruk, the main task he has now set for the city facility services is to identify everyone. There is an information centre near the morgue that is helping relatives find, identify and bury their loved ones.
There is also a call centre and there are volunteers at the Centre for Administrative Services who are providing information by phone: +380683282892.
The mayor says that the Bucha City Council is providing the necessary facilities to all the families of the victims in Bucha and the community.
Quote: "There are also the number of places necessary in the cemetery on Deputatska
Street. Everything is free - at the expense of the community budget. The head of the ritual service Kaplychnyi Serhii is responsible for this, his phone number is +380679523112.
We want to help families bury the dead within the next week.
If you have information that someone has not yet been exhumed or that our staff and volunteers have not been able to help you, write this in the comments, we will find out and search for them separately.
This is our common tragedy. And it is our job to make sure that every innocent person killed is properly identified and buried. "
